Hello WOVEN!
As the morning slid up over the cool air this very morning, I stood quietly on my front porch. I could feel my warm cup of coffee in my hands and the smell of change stood prominently in the air. I wondered for a moment about life and then I fell to silence in the knowing..... There is something Holy about any Sunday mornings, yet this Sunday morning held it's own peace simply in the Palms of life.
And then I thought about you. I thought about you and you and you and even you and I thanked God right there on my front porch sitting quietly in the coolness of the morning. I thanked Him deeply for you and for Loving me so....
There is a stillness that lingers in Holy and for sure it stood in the air this morning. The breeze caught my breath and I smiled thinking about God's desires for us to push the wind from our chest simply in the proclamation of His love for all of us. I was breathless this morning and I was joy full that I stood there on my front porch loving life.
As time moved, 5:48 turned into 6:00 am I sat there in the brisk morning air in my quietness and thought about the sanctuaries throughout the nations on this very day. I thought about how filled they will be with emptiness. And how "empty" they would be with "filledness" of self. I felt tears roll haphazardly down my cheeks and I asked God this very morning for mercy upon His Kingdom.
In the past weeks, many changes have come to our world, our nation, our families, our homes, and even here at WOVEN. The Lord created His children to endure change for the very reason that change ushers in Hope. Our conversations are to be sweet, kind, encouraging and always guided by our father for that very hope to be possible "in the reach" from someone who is empty this very morning longing to be filled.
This Holy Palm Sunday feels important simply in it's arrival upon my skin and within my heart. And yet history reminds me that this Holy Sunday signifies the end, the end of something... to come. And then we wait. We wait with anticipation of Hope and it is so.... it is so that I feel you, you are not far from me, you are within my heart and the Lord knows His presence here and He also knows your presence within me. I can not tell you how important you are to His Kingdom, to His sanctuary, to His world and the work that must and will be done in His name.
As you enjoy your beautiful day with your family today, recognize the journey, the peace within you, the Love that your holding back, the freedom that you are longing for. Know that the sanctuary can not be empty when your present because your filled with holy..... WE ARE WOVEN!
